Please read and understand this policy before using HuKe. HuKe is available to users aged 18 and older. We may update this policy from time to time; when there is a material change, we will update the version or effective date and notify you in the app when appropriate.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to account registration and management, public profiles, publishing and browsing skills, lesson requests, lesson details, chat, video rooms, Course Coins, reviews, reports, blocking, help, and feedback in the HuKe App.
This policy does not replace rights provided by applicable law or change the specific lesson, refund, or app-store transaction rules available in the app.
Information we collect
We process information you provide and device and usage information needed to keep the service running. The scope depends on the features you use.

How we use information
We use this information to operate HuKe and keep a skill exchange connected from discovery and conversation through lesson completion.
- 01
Provide and maintain the service
Create and manage accounts, display skills and public profiles, match teachers and learners, and arrange instant or scheduled lessons.
- 02
Complete the lesson flow
Deliver lesson requests and notifications, provide chat and video rooms, and record lesson status, reviews, settlement, refunds, and dispute outcomes.
- 03
Maintain a trusted community
Handle reports, blocks, fraud prevention, policy violations, and help feedback to protect users, the platform, and the service.
- 04
Improve the experience and troubleshoot
Analyze service operation, respond to crashes, network connections, and feature failures, and improve reliability and usability.
Camera, microphone, and notifications
HuKe requests system permissions only when the relevant feature needs them. Browsing skills, viewing lessons, or managing an account does not continuously use your camera or microphone.
You can review permission status in Profile under Permissions & notifications and adjust access in system settings. Denying camera or microphone access does not affect browsing or account management, but it affects the relevant video-room features. You decide whether notifications are enabled.
Course Coins and lesson records
HuKe records time balance, Course Coin balance, escrow status, purchase or restored-purchase results, lesson spending, refunds, and teaching settlement associated with lesson exchange. These records show account status, complete lesson settlement, handle refunds and disputes, and meet necessary safety and compliance requirements.
Course Coins may be used only for lesson exchange within HuKe. They cannot be transferred between accounts, withdrawn, or exchanged for legal currency. Purchases made through an app store are processed under the corresponding store flow.
Safety, reports, and blocking
You can report, block, or open a dispute from a public profile, skill, chat, or lesson page. To review and handle the matter, we use the reason, description, and evidence you submit together with related lesson, message, or account information.
Blocking restricts further contact and new lesson interactions with that user. Reports, disputes, and feedback create handling records, and the app may update you on status through system notifications.
Retention and account deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service. Lesson, Course Coin, refund, dispute, and safety-related records may be retained longer for legal, fraud-prevention, audit, or unresolved-matter handling purposes. When the retention period ends, we delete or otherwise appropriately process the related information.
Your rights and contact
Where permitted by applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restricted processing of information about you. To protect account security, we may need to verify the requester and account ownership.
For questions about this policy, account deletion, or a privacy request, contact us using the email address below. We will respond as soon as possible after verifying the request.
